Collingwood and St Kilda have exchanged draft picks which will see the Magpies land a future selection that is tied to Adelaide.
The Saints will send a 2022 fourth-round pick - tied to the Crows - to Collingwood in exchange for Pick 55 in the 2021 National Draft.
Trade paperwork lodged.
Collingwood trade its Round Three Selection (55) to St Kilda for its Future Round Four Selection (tied to Adelaide Crows)— AFL House (@AFL_House) November 12, 2021
The trade will allow the Saints greater flexibility to land NGA prospects Mitchito Owens and Marcus Windhager at this month's draft, with St Kilda likely requiring more draft points to sign the promising pair.
The Saints will now add Pick 55 to their hand of selections for 2021, also holding Picks 9, 62, 66, 67, and 85.
The future selection could also aid the Magpies in trading back into the National Draft, with Collingwood set to hand over a majority of their selections in an early matched bid for father-son talent Nick Daicos.
Collingwood now hold selections 36, 38, 40, 46, 48, 58, 78 and 79 for the 2021 National Draft.
The National Draft will commence on November 24-25, with the first night only including first-round selections.
