Port Adelaide forward Charlie Dixon has found himself in hot water following a bump in a SANFL match on Saturday, with the Match Review Panel (MRP) handing down a three-game suspension.
Dixon - who was dropped to the reserve grade following three goalless weeks in the AFL - can be seen making contact with West Adelaide's Jordan White, who was subsequently helped from the field and ruled out of the remainder of the game.
The incident was graded as careless conduct, high contact and severe impact, constituting a three-week layoff for the Power forward.
Following the win Power SANFL coach and former AFL player Hamish Hartlett said there was no intent to hurt from the 33-year-old but the outcome of the incident would cause a review.
โI saw the incident very briefly as it happened," Hartlett said, according to News Corp.
โI haven't seen it since so it is tough to comment. Obviously the West Adelaide player, didn't return to the action so I guess it will be looked.
โWhat I do know having seen it very, very briefly is there was no malicious intent in the incident so we will see what happens.โ
Following the club's AFL loss to GWS on Sunday, Port Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley was asked about Dixon's bump, which occurred the day before.
"I've been in Sydney so I haven't seen yesterday's game," Hinkley said in Sunday's post-match press conference.
"Charlie... it'll take care of itself if there's an incident. They'll look at that, they'll give us the information and we'll make some challenges from there."

Dixon was well held in the contest, managing two goals from a measly nine touches in his bid for a senior recall.
Fellow axed veteran Jeremy Finlayson was arguably the Power's best in the reserves, kicking 1.3 from 25 disposals, six clearances and seven marks.
Ruckman Jordon Sweet was impressive while defender Lachie Jones put his case forward.
