Port Adelaide defender Miles Bergman is reportedly keen to head back to Victoria, despite being contracted until the end of 2025.
Before re-signing two years ago, it is understood that many clubs were interested in acquiring Bergman's services.
However, with a pull home and closer to family, it appears that the 22-year-old could be looking to move, according to Herald Sun's Sam Landsberger.
"Miles Bergman (is a watch)", Landsberger said on Fox Footy'sย Midweek Tackle.
"I think he is very keen to get back to Victoria.
"He's contracted for another 12 months so it might not happen this year.
"But I believe at some stage he will look to get back home. He's a Hampton boy."
Earlier this week, Bergman admitted that the lure of returning to Victoria is always a temptation.
โYeah, obviously I signed the two years last year,โ Bergman toldย SEN SA The Run Home.
โObviously, it was a big decision and I love the club and where we're going, so I decided to stay.
โAt the moment, I'm really enjoying it as well. There's no obviously correct answer and home is always a temptation, but at the moment, I love it here.
โAll of the boys are so good, and I feel at home.โ
Speculation around Bergman comes as fellow teammates and defender Dan Houston has also been linked with a return to Victoria, with Melbourne reportedly leading the charge.
Contracted at the Power until the end of 2027, Houston responded to rumours.
"I'm contracted to Port Adelaide and love Port Adelaide,โ Houston said, speaking withย foxfooty.com.au's Ben Cotton.
"These talks come up this time of the year and this time it's my name. But I'm fully committed to the club.
"That stuff is going to go on outside the four walls, but they've got my back and they've told me to keep focusing on playing good footy."
Despite the possibility of either Bergman or Houston departing the club, Port Adelaide are heavily invested in bringing GWS duo Harry Perryman and Isaac Cumming over from New South Wales.
