In-form Port Adelaide defender Miles Bergman will be given every chance to face Sydney this week after it was revealed he was dealing with a knee injury.
Bergman was substituted out of the Hawthorn win with a knee complaint, and since, has been cleared of any structural damage.
"I think he'll be OK," Power coach Ken Hinkley told reporters on Wednesday.
"The scan was OK, it was a bursar issue that causes a lot of fluid but not too much long-term issue.
"Optimistic that he'll be there Sunday, doesn't mean he definitely will be. We'll have to wait until very close to the game."
The Power will regain pressure forward and utility Darcy Byrne-Jones from his one-game suspension to take on the Swans at the SCG.

Hinkley also stopped at suggesting where captain Connor Rozee will play after a dominant performance across halfback.
Rozee was arguably the club's most influential player against the Hawks, and could be seen there again if Bergman doesn't get up for the contest.
"He'll be available to play there when we need him," Hinkley said.
"Which could be this week. Could be next week. Might be the week after. But I do remember he kicked five (goals) in his third game of AFL football, so I might play him at full forward.
"We know Connor's history. It's a great tool to be able to use. It's great to have your captain accept whatever he needs to do for the team.
"And I loved his comment around being a better captain from being behind the ball."
The Power will be hoping to replicate their mid-season clash with the Swans last year, putting together one of the most damning performances of the 2024 campaign.
In Round 21, Port Adelaide thumped Sydney by 112 points, which was reminiscent of their first half against Hawthorn in Gather Round.
