Port Adelaide has announced Quinton Narkle, Tom Scully, Kyle Marshall and Francis Evans have been delisted by the club following the 2024 season, while defender Tom Clurey is opting out of his contract with one year remaining.

The decision Clurey came to was to seek opportunities elsewhere, after falling behind the pecking order at the Power, with West Coast previously a link.

"I've loved my time at Port Adelaide but now it's time to move on and see what other opportunities exist for me to extend my AFL career," Clurey said.

"Over the last 12 months the club has moved in a different direction with its defensive structure and personnel. Whilst I understand this, I still feel as though I have more to offer.

"Like I said I've had a great journey and made some lifelong friends. I want to thank all my teammates over the years, my coaches, the staff and all the volunteers that contribute so much and who have supported in my time here at Port Adelaide."

Clurey played 124 games for the club, making his debut in 2014, with his last appearance coming in 2023 due to a series of injury setbacks.

Narkle leaves Port Adelaide after 18 months in South Australia, having found an AFL lifeline with the Power via the 2023 Mid-Season Draft following his Geelong delisting the year prior.

The Western Australian played 16 games under Ken Hinkley during his time with the Power, adding to his 41 games with the Cats.

Evans - who like Narkle featured in the preliminary final side against Sydney - was also shown the exit after 34 games at the elite level.

The 23-year-old crossed from Geelong as a delisted free agent at the end of the 2022 season.

Key forward Scully was selected by Port Adelaide in the 2022 National Draft from West Adelaide after a promising year in under 18s.

The 19-year-old managed 20 majors across 18 SANFL games this year, while averaging eight disposals and just under three marks per game.

Marshall was also selected in the 2022 National Draft, with the 20-year-old taken at Pick 59.

The defender played 14 SANFL games in 2024 for Port Adelaide, averaging 7.1 disposals and 3.6 marks.

The pair were unable to break into the AFL side.

List manager Jason Cripps thanked the quartet for their service to the club.

“Quinton and Frankie have contributed really positively to our club, at both AFL and SANFL level,” Cripps said.

“They provided good depth for us when we needed it, and we are grateful for the time they spent at Port Adelaide.

“While Tom and Kyle didn't get their chance to play AFL football, they demonstrated improvement and commitment to the program over the past two years.

“All four players are good people, and we wish them all the very best for what comes next.”

The delistings add to the departures of Charlie Dixon (retired), Dan Houston (Collingwood Magpies), Trent McKenzie (retired) and Tom McCallum (delisted) already this off-season, while the Power have added Jack Lukosius, Joe Richards, Rory Atkins and Jacob Moss for the 2025 season.
