Veteran Power key forwards Charlie Dixon and Jeremy Finlayson will line up for the Magpies in their clash with West Adelaide at Alberton Oval on Saturday.

The pair have been dropped from the AFL side that lost to Carlton a fortnight ago and are among a host of key inclusions for the battling Magpies.

Midfielder Hugh Jackson will play his first game of the season after overcoming hip surgery in the off-season, while Dylan Aldridge, Bailey Chamberlain, Miller Carter and father-son prospect Preston Cockatoo-Collins have all been named.

Big men Ollie Lord and Dante Visentini have been called up to the AFL team on an extended bench, as have Will Lorenz, Dylan Williams and Quinton Narkle, while Trent McKenzie will miss with a hamstring.

Any of these players not taken to Sydney as Power emergencies will play with Magpies.

The Crows could keep ruckman Reilly O'Brien, who has been selected as an emergency for the club's AFL team, while Nick Murray will also step into the AFL side after two SANFL games following an ACL injury.

Crows' SANFL skipper Jack Madgen will miss the game against Woodville-West Torrens after being suspended for abusive language towards an umpire.

Brodie Smith, Chris Burgess and Ned McHenry have all been omitted from the AFL team and named as emergencies.

If unused, all three will take their place in the SANFL side and add some much-needed reinforcement.

Elsewhere around the league, Woodville-West Torrens will regain captain Joe Sinor for Saturday's clash with the Crows after recovering from a hamstring.

He is one of four inclusions alongside Jordan Lukac, Luke McFarlane and Will Neumann who have all been promoted from the reserves.

James Rowe will miss with suspension after his one-game ban for a high bump was upheld at the SANFL Tribunal.

West Adelaide will welcome back Lucas Meline from a hamstring injury, while Josh Gore comes in for his first game of the season.

Dylan Bramich is set to miss with a shin injury, while Ned Stevens has been ruled out with illness.

Rebounding defender Callum Park will make his long-awaited return from a quad injury through the reserves.

Central District have lost two key players for their battle with South Adelaide on Saturday, with Kyle Presbury (calf) and George Kendall (hamstring) both sidelined.

Zac Buechner will return for the Bulldogs after missing last week's win over the Eagles, while Louie McLennan - the younger brother of Jez - has been named to make his league debut after an excellent season in the reserves.

Will Splann, Jordan Tippins and Adam Deakin have all been named on an extended bench.

Noah Howes is back for South Adelaide after playing U18s footy last weekend, while Jonti Schuback and Cooper Rogers will return following stints in the reserves.

Eamon Wilkinson will miss the clash with a back injury and young defender Lachlan Scott has been omitted.
