Port Adelaide draftee Jack Whitlock didn't mince his words when taking aim at rival clubs who passed on him during the 2024 AFL Draft.
Whitlock - who slid to Pick 33 - was widely tipped to go in the first round, with many believing he was pushing for a top-10 selection.
However, as it played out, the Power was shocked to see the swingman still on the board when their second selection came around after securing small forward Joe Berry with Pick 15.
During the opening night of the draft intake, Whitlock saw his brother, Matt, scooped up by North Melbourne with the last selection of the evening, causing mixed emotions.
"Everyone was probably thinking I was going to go first (before Matt)," Whitlock told 7NEWS.

"So it was a bit of a different way around it, which probably isn't a bad thing โ let Matt have his shine."
But early the following night, Jack didn't have to wait long to hear his name called out, with Port Adelaide snatching him up.
"I'll put my head down and get straight back to work," Whitlock continued.
"And prove everyone that didn't pick me wrong. Show them why I'm actually up there."
Power recruiter Geoff Parker said it was a pleasant surprise to see the Vic Country tall slide.
"It's a bit surprising. I think the way it's all panned out the taller players are starting to get shifted out a little bit," Parker said after the draft.
"I was still surprised Jack was there left over."
"After we got Joe, the plan was we had two or three talls to consider. Jack was at the top of that list.
"We think there's scope for him to work on his ruck craft and develop that pretty strongly, and his athleticism at ground level for his size is very good."
