Port Adelaide has joined the race to sign Geelong big man Nathan Vardy.
As many as five clubs have now been linked to the highly talented, yet injury prone, ruckman/forward.
Vardy has struggled to string games together at senior level, managing just 25 games in his career. Injuries restricted him to just three games in 2015, and while he managed to have a relatively injury free run this season compared to previous years, he only played one senior game, falling behind the likes of Zac Smith and Rhys Stanley.
Port Adelaide list manager Chris Davies, confirmed the Power's interest on AFL Trade radio on Monday.
"He fits the type of profile of a player we'd be after," Davies said.
The Herald Sun reported earlier this year that Hawthorn, Brisbane, GWS and the Western Bulldogs had all shown interest in the 25-year-old.
