Port Adelaide has re-signed emerging ruckman Dante Visentini to a new two-year deal, seeing the 22-year-old's future secured at Alberton until the end of 2027.
Entering his fourth season with the South Australian club, Visentini has six AFL games to his name as he continues to work on his ruck craft under coach Ken Hinkley.
The 202cm talent broke through for a debut in 2023 against Essendon and would play two more games that season before doubling his career tally in 2024.
Last season Visentini averaged 7.33 disposals and 23.67 hitouts per game for the Power in what was another campaign of promise.
"I'm very happy to have signed on for two more years at Port Adelaide," Visentini said in a club statement.
"I love the club and I feel like this playing group is pretty special. I've developed so much in my time here, and I am keen to keep learning and growing in this environment.
"The coaches, players and staff have all been great over the last three years, and I look forward to making the most of this opportunity."
2025 will likely see Visentini place pressure on senior ruckmen Jordon Sweet and Ivan Soldo come selection, with the fringe tall hoping to add to his six games in the top flight.
Power list boss Jason Cripps credited Visentini for his exciting potential and ruck prowess.
"Dante is a promising young player with significant upside and is naturally very competitive," Cripps said.
"He is able to impact both in the air and at ground level, and his ruck work only continues to get better. Dante is extremely driven, has a strong work ethic and is well-liked and respected by the coaches and playing group.
"We are really pleased to see him sign on for two more years."
The Power will suit up for their first game of the pre-season on Friday against Adelaide at Mt Barker before heading to Victoria to face St Kilda at RSEA Park for the Community Series.
Port Adelaide's 2025 home and away season gets underway against Collingwood at the MCG on Saturday, February 15.
