7. 14 - Jordan De Goey

De Goey is the ultimate moments player of the competition and that kick late in final term of last year's seen decider was easily the biggest play of the year in one of the best games of all time.

His preliminary final performance was also one of the best of the season - 34 disposals and 13 clearances in a low-scoring slog to keep Collingwood's season alive.

What's overshadowed by these moments is that 2023 was also clearly De Goey's best season and, at only 27 years old, he may still be on the rise.
