With the 2024 season almost upon us, let's look through some stars of the competition to watch out for this year.

We've compiled a list of the projected top 50 players in the competition for 2024, starting with the names at spots 50 overall through to 41.

Rather than naming the best performers of 2023 or the top players entering Opening Round, this list will look at the best players currently with some projections as to how they may rank at the end of the year.

8. 43 - Andrew Brayshaw

Despite similar numbers, Brayshaw's 2023 campaign did not meet the expectations set after 2022, where he took out the Players' MVP and established himself as a clear top 10 midfielder.

Fremantle's struggles have amplified his drop down the rankings and Caleb Serong is now the household name in the Dockers' midfield.

This can change quickly however, and Brayshaw has made a name for himself with professionalism and dedication to the one percenters.

Don't be surprised if he explodes with another All-Australian campaign as Fremantle try and respond to last year's failure.
