Port Adelaide premiership coach Mark Williams could be on his way to the Adelaide Crows.
Williams, who coached 273 games for Port as well as leading them to the AFL's holy grail when they defeated Brisbane Lions in the 2004 grand final, is considering working with the Crows under first-year coach Matthew Nicks.
Having been coaching Werribee in the 2019 VFL season, Williams has the desire to be back in the AFL environment, even if the opportunity arises with the rival team.
“I’d never say no to anything,” he told SEN's Dwayne World.
“The little man inside me believes I could help any football club or any individual player. I get delight out of doing both so there it is.
“As soon as you walk in the door you love the next club and that’s what my experience has been as a player and a coach.
"It’s amazing how you can still love the clubs you have been at but the fact of the matter is where you’re working is where you love the most right at that moment.”
