Streetwear fashion brand Superdry has just announced a new collaboration with Collingwood premiership player Patrick Lipinski to launch their new puffer jacket range.

Superdry, an exciting and contemporary brand that "fuses vintage Americana and Japanese-inspired graphics with a British style" is making headway in Australia, with Lipinski showing off the iconic Sports Puffer in Saffron Yellow.

Renowned for high-quality fabrics, authentic vintage washes, unique detailing and world-leading hand-drawn graphics and tailored fits, it is no surprise that the fashionable Pie has joined the campaign.

Speaking at a Superdry shoot in April, Lipinski says players are tapping into their interests more, with fashion an outlet for Lipinski.

AFL players are probably tapping into some of this stuff a little bit more,” Lipinski said, according to NewsCorp.

“Maybe it's a little bit more accepted, or people are just being themselves and doing what they want to do and not thinking about what others think.

“But I've always loved fashion and think Superdry is a cool brand.”

Superdry's General Manager of International Brands (Brand Collective), Alastair Davies, counts the partnership as a success, saying they're glad to have Lipinski on board.

“We are big fans of Patrick, not only for his commitment to his sport, but also his personal style off-field and are so excited to be working with him to encapsulate our brand ethos and connect with the local community,” Davies said.

After an injury-interrupted 2023, the former Bulldog has been in stellar form in the opening rounds of the new season.

Playing a hybrid role across half forward - and at times through the wing and midfield - Lipinski has put together a stretch of consistent performances in the black and white, including a career-best four-goal haul against Port Adelaide in Round 6.

The Pick 28 in the 2016 National Draft has been a steal for the Pies, who gave up Pick 43 to lure him from the Kennel.

Lipinski amassed his fifth 20+ disposal game of the season - to go with seven tackles and a goal - in the Pies' win over Melbourne in round 14. He's averaging 18.75 disposals and nearly a goal a game this season.

To celebrate the launch of the campaign, Superdry hosted a Puffer Party at Public House in Richmond, Melbourne.

Guests included Australian rugby league player Justin O'neil and his wife Chantelle, Big Brother star Tahan Lew, model Jay Camanga and podcast host Rachel Maksimovic.

Superdry puffer jackets are created with the future, craft, and culture front of mind. Designed and built from sustainable materials where possible, so your future self can thank you.
