North Melbourne have announced that young Roo George Wardlaw will make his debut against Sydney this weekend, becoming the club's third debutant this year.
Wardlaw was selected by North with Pick No.4 in the 2022 AFL Draft, with his debut highly anticipated at Arden Street.
The 18-year-old has dealt with injury concerns prior to his debut, with hamstring injuries in his junior career and a knee injury this year making North take a cautious approach with the young Roo.

The club announced the news of Wardlaw's debut on Thursday, with the full team to take on the Swans to be released at 6:20pm AEST.
Wardlaw becomes the club's third debutant of the season, behind Harry Sheezel and Blake Drury.
