West Coast co-captain Oscar Allen is reportedly leaning toward departing the Western Australia club, with Brisbane leading the race for his signature.
Much has been spoken about Allen and his future as he enters free agency, with the Lions and Hawthorn among rival suitors looking to bolster their key forward stocks.
Adding to the media furore surrounding the 25-year-old is the fact that news came to light of his meeting with Hawks coach Sam Mitchell, which sparked discourse throughout the AFL world.

However, according to Channel 9's Tom Morris, Allen would head to Queensland as his preferred destination for multiple reasons.
"As it stands, Oscar Allen wants to play for the Brisbane Lions next year," Morris said.
"Clearly, he's out of contract at the end of the year. He's a free agent. And there's three reasons why he wants to play for the Brisbane Lions next year.
"The long-term contract is one. The security of that six-plus years, will set his family up for life.
"Another reason is the fact they're in the premiership window. He's keen to play for a club that can win a flag next year.
"And the third reason is the prospect of the Brisbane Lions fixing his body. He's had issues with his knee, and they've done that before with Lincoln McCarthy, Callum Ah Chee and Joe Daniher.
"It could change by the end of the year, but if the season finished now, Oscar Allen would move to the Brisbane Lions as a free agent."
The Lions have been into Allen since last October, when it became known of their meeting shortly after they secured the 2024 premiership.
