4. Dylan Moore

The Hawks forward was one of the AFL's highest risers in 2022, proving to be a constant threat in Sam Mitchell's forward 50 and even moving into the middle of the ground through periods of the season.

Moore's breakout campaign came just 18 months after he was delisted and re-selected through the Rookie Draft, with last year proving to be a crucial year for the Eastern Ranges product.

The Hawks small forward was a consistent star in the brown and gold this year and would record career bests for disposals, marks, tackles, clearances, contested possessions, ground ball gets and score involvements.

Moore will enter 2023 as a key piece in Mitchell's youthful Hawthorn squad and as a free agent, with the Hawks sure to be pushing hard to retain the goalsneak.

The 23-year-old is likely destined for more time in the midfield and may continue his ascending trajectory next year.
