2022 saw the AFL uncover a host of stars, while some well-known names strengthened their place and pedigree thanks to stellar campaigns.
So, we've attempted to compile a list ranking the 10 players that improved the most this season.
This list takes a look at where these players were positioned at the conclusion of the 2021 season and how they rank 12 months on.
Note: Players are required to have featured in the AFL in 2021, meaning Geelong forward Tyson Stengle was not eligible for our list.

3. Chad Warner
Now seen as a bonafide star of the competition at the conclusion of his third season in the AFL, Sydney young gun Chad Warner looks destined for greatness.
The 21-year-old only had 15 games to his name prior to 2022 but had shown glimpses of what could be in store for Swans fans with his ability to break lines through midfield.
Warner also recorded 20 or more possessions on just three occasions prior to this year, but in 2022 he surpassed that benchmark in 19 games, doing so in 10 of his last 11 matches.
This year Warner emerged as the third prong in Sydney's star-studded midfield, joining leaders Callum Mills and Luke Parker in the centre to help lead the Swans to a grand final finish.

He capped off a stellar season in the season decider, recording 29 possessions, 10 clearances and 2 goals to be the Swans' standout performer, albeit in a loss.
Warner ranked top six in the AFL this year for inside 50s, score involvements and goal assists, per game.
Nick Daicos should be in the top 10 when we are talking about “improvement”, taking into consideration he was in the NAB League in 2021
