In the fourth and final instalment of our 2023 AFL position rankings, we've named the top ten forwards of the year.
It was an interrupted season for many key forwards, with the likes of Tom Lynch, Mitch Lewis and Max King all dealing with injury setbacks to see their campaigns limited.
Nevertheless, their absences came as new premier forwards emerged to the fore, with a number of attackers enjoying career-best seasons in 2023.
Between the dominant tall forwards or the threatening smalls, a number of new faces are sure to appear in this year's rankings.

7. Oscar Allen
After missing the entire 2022 season through injury, Allen shook off any lingering concerns to enjoy a breakout season during what was one of the toughest campaigns the Eagles have endured in their time.
Allen booted 53 of West Coast's 204 goals in 2023, making up almost 26 per cent of the club's majors for the season, with the Eagles spearhead kicking more than double the next best on the club's list in Jack Darling.
While the Eagles struggled to find success this year, Allen was a constant contributor and would be held goalless on just one occasion.
Booting three or more goals in nine games, Allen moved into the top echelon of forwards this year despite the lack of support around him.
