Eddie Betts is contracted at Adelaide through 2020, but looks set to make a shocking return to the Blues in the upcoming trade period.
The Australianย reported early on Thursday night that Betts was โdesperately unhappyโ with the Crows and โwill returnโ to Carlton.
Talks of Betts being unsettled at Adelaide date back to the pre-season camp in 2018.
Gold Coast have also been linked with a move for Betts during the trade period.
Betts has stated there has been an interest in his services, but no formal offer has been made.
โI can say right now, honestly, thereโs been no offer made to me from Gold Coast or any other team,โ Betts told FIVEaa on Thursday.
