North Melbourne are in need of a replacement for outgoing football boss Cameron Joyce.
And according to the Herald Sun, the Kangaroos want to bring former player Brady Rawlings back to the club and fill the soon-to-be vacant role.
The former midfielder played 245 games for the Roos, before joining West Coast in 2013 where he became an assistant coach.
He would change roles in 2016, becoming the club's list manager.
Earlier in the week, North Melbourne confirmed Joyce would be leaving Arden Street at the end of the year after 11 years of service.
The Kangaroos also claimed that there was interest on their behalf to lure current Swans coach John Longmire to the club.
He could replace the departed Brad Scott.
