Adelaide coach Don Pyke called an impromptu meeting at his house on Sunday following his side’s loss to Carlton the previous day, as reported by SEN.

The Crows fell to fourth loss in their last five with many in the media now wondering how tenable Pyke’s position is.

Adelaide’s season is falling apart. Once in the top four, they now sit eighth with a number of teams breathing down their neck for a place in the finals.

The meeting at Pyke’s home was open to the entire playing and coaching staff over pizza and beers as the group planned how to rebound in their final four games.

As the Crows race for a finals place they face a white hot St Kilda side before travelling to Perth to play West Coast.

Their final two games could end up being elimination final themselves with a game at home against Collingwood before travelling to Ballarat to play the side currently in ninth, the Western Bulldogs.

Should the Crows fail to make the eight there will be plenty of time for further meetings at Pyke’s home. The pressure is on.
