St Kilda defender Daniel McKenzie may be traded according to The Age.

The Saints could reportedly use McKenzie as a sweetener as it attempts to secure a slew of trade targets in the fast-approaching trade period.

St Kilda is reportedly expected to trade for the likes of Bradley Hill, Zak Jones, Alex Keath and Paddy Ryder.

McKenzie recently re-signed with Saints earlier in the year until the end of the 2022 season and has reportedly not asked to be traded.

The 23-year-old was drafted by the Saints with the 22nd pick in the 2014 National Draft and has played 49 games for the club.

McKenzie played 15 games this season for St Kilda, averaging just under 11 touches per game while playing consistently in defence.

McKenzie also ranked 14th in the league in effective disposal percentage per game during what was a disappointing season for the Saints.
