The AFL are set to make a number of changes to the current pre-game model, with clubs now reportedly not allowed to warm-up pre-game.

Usually, clubs would complete a 15-minute warm-up on the field around 30 minutes before the game started, although according to foxfooty.com.au, that warm-up period will now no longer take place.

Instead, clubs must now complete most of their pre-game drills indoors, before coming out onto the ground for the first time around 10 minutes before the opening bounce.

It is believed the AFL have made these changes to allow for more curtain raisers and fan activities.

Away clubs must now enter the playing arena 14 minutes before the bounce, while home sides enter three minutes later.

The League has also made changes to the game-day playing lists, with clubs now required to name four emergencies, instead of three.

This will allow for clubs to essentially have one emergency per position, which should stop teams from calling up players to games who weren't named on the original emergencies list.

The AFL have also removed the siren three minutes before the bounce, with two sirens to be blown two minutes before, with one siren going off one minute before the game begins.
