Out-of-contract Western Bulldogs forward Jack Redpath is reportedly on Carlton's radar.

The Blues looks likely to lose key forward Levi Casboult and see Redpath as a possible handy addition to the forward line if they they do lose the contested marking beast.

Redpath, who missed the Bulldogs' 2016 premiership win, has been offered a new deal by the Bulldogs, however, he is yet to put pen to paper on the deal, according to Channel Seven's Mark Stevens.

The offer is reportedly a one-year deal, with an option for a second year should he reach a trigger clause by reaching a games criteria.

Redpath, 26, has played 34 games for the Dogs, kicking 56 goals.

He has had to battle hard for his opportunity at AFL level, selected as a mature aged recruit with pick No.62 in the 2012 Rookie Draft, before making his debut late in 2014.

He was enjoying a career best season last year, when disaster struck in Round 18, when he suffered a torn ACL, just a few months out from what would eventually be the club's second ever premiership and first since 1954.
