Western Bulldogs midfielder Koby Stevens is reportedly likely to join Essendon this off-season.
FoxSports' Jake Niall has reported that the Bombers are very keen on the 25-year-old, with the two parties a "long way down the road" in negations.
Stevens has played 74 games with the Bulldogs in seven seasons, but has failed to cement a regular spot in the senior side under Luke Beveridge, playing 24 games over the past two years.
The Gold Coast Suns are also said to be interested, however, the Bombers are currently the front runners to secure his signature.
He has averaged 17.7 disposals, 3.3 marks, 3.6 tackles and 2.4 inside 50s per game in his career.
