Adelaide ruckman Sam Jacobs has had a medical at Carlton, as the two parties entertain the idea of a reunion.
Jacobs was traded to Adelaide at the end of the 2010 season for draft picks, but could be on his way back to Ikon Park.
The 31-year-old has reportedly been handed a one-year deal to remain at the Crows according to the Herald Sun, while opposition clubs are offering longer security.
The Giants are reportedly interested in his services, and have also offered him a long-term deal.
Jacobs has played 184 games for the Crows, and played at least 19 games per season for the club between 2011-18.
