Paddy Ryder may have chosen St Kilda as his preferred destination but he is keeping his options open.
Ryder was seen on Thursday morning at Carlton's Ikon Park headquarters meeting with the Blues, who are still working out their ruck for next year, according to Ashley Browne.

The 31-year-old notified the Saints back on September 25 that he wanted to make a trade to Moorabbin since he was no longer part of Port Adelaide's best 22.
The Saints are a popular destination with Bradley Hill, Dougal Howard and Zak Jones all indicating a desire to join the club.
Matthew Kreuzer is Carlton's first-choice ruckman at the moment, followed by the un-signed Levi Casboult. The Blues have also been linked to Hawthorn's Marc Pittonet who is yet to agree to a new deal with the Hawks.
