Tom Morris from Fox Sports is reporting the Gold Coast Suns are interested in Richmond's Corey Ellis.
The 21-year-old has emerged as a possible target for the Suns after playing just four games this season.
“They’re looking to recruit players that have experience but haven’t quite cut it at AFL level yet,” Morris told Fox Sports News’ AFL Tonight.
“The Suns are clearly looking for one sort of player. They’re just four names that have been thrown up at the moment. I’d be surprised if they didn’t get at least a couple of them.”
Ellis was originally taken by the Tigers with pick 12 in the 2014 national draft, but has only played 27 games of senior football.
The Suns have already been linked to Richmond duo Jacob Townsend and Anthony Miles, who are the past two winners of the VFL’s best and fairest award the JJ Liston Trophy.
The Suns are expected to lose star forward and club captain Tom Lynch to the Tigers, while fellow captain Steven May has been heavily linked to Collingwood.
