Richmond and Hawthorn will clash at the MCG on Sunday afternoon, with Richmond hoping to keep their finals hopes alive.
Both teams come into the game off the back of wins in Round 18 and will be full of confidence heading into the match.
Whilst finals are well and truly out of the question for Hawthorn, Richmond coach Andrew McQualter didn't doubt how competitive his upcoming opponents can be.
"We know that their best footy can be really, really dangerous. They can be fast and attack, they defend really well. So that's what we're preparing for," McQualter told reporters at Punt Road on Thursday.
"We think we've got lots of room to grow, so we're enjoying the challenge at the moment. We're still conceding too many entries against us."
McQualter also touched on last week's incident regarding Maurice Rioli, where he appeared to snub a call from coaches on the bench when he was subbed off during the final quarter.
"We spoke through it, and he's a young kid trying to make his way. I understand that he was disappointed, and we spoke the next day... we move on. It's not a big deal," McQualter said.
"The fact that he cared and he's passionate and wants to make it and wants to do well for our team. You've gotta love that part of him."
Over at Hawthorn, coach Sam Mitchell said the Hawks were looking to build some consistency and perform against a strong side like Richmond.
"The Tigers have been in really good form. They're really efficient going forward now and we know we need to be able to limit some of their forward 50 entries," Mitchell said.
"Richmond is the perfect opportunity for us to see if we can start to beat some teams that are in front of us and start to do that in a more consistent manner.
"We want our consistency for the next six games to be as strong as it has for the last two."
Richmond and Hawthorn will play on Saturday at 1:45 pm (AEST) at the MCG.
