The AFL has handed Richmond a band 4 compensation selection for the loss of Jack Graham (West Coast), who currently sits at Pick 42.
Graham departed the Tigers via free agency and was the only move of the day.
A luckless St Kilda forward has reportedly undergone a medical assessment at a Victorian rival while the Gold Coast have revealed their trade period plans.

West Coast recently acquired Richmond premiership midfielder Jack Graham via free agency in a significant coup for the rebuilding club.
As the rules stipulate, the Eagles didn't need to offer anything to the Tigers, who received Pick 42 (currently), handed down as compensation for the loss of Graham.
Richmond is currently arming itself with a hefty draft hand for what is poised as one of the best crops in recent times.
Fremantle has quashed any rumours of contracted players Chad Warner and Kysaiah Pickett coming to the club despite links to Western Australia.
The pair are both contracted in Sydney and Melbourne, but it hasn't stopped the notion of a reunion to their home states.
Warner - who is contracted for 2025 - will be one of the most sought-after players in the competition, with clubs planning now.
"He's obviously contracted and coming off a grand final as well, so I don't think there'll be any movement with Chad this year, I think he'll be playing at the Swans next year as far as I know," Dockers list manager David Walls said.
As for Pickett, his deal ends after the 2027 season at the Demons but is believed to be gettable given the close ties to the western state.
"I like the sound of that (Pickett coming to Fremantle)," Walls joked, "But we haven't spoken to 'Kozzy' as yet, he's contracted long-term at Melbourne. He'd be a nice fit, he's got family ties to WA, but I don't see it happening this year."
Collingwood and Carlton are gunning hard for the selection, believing it will open up a move for Port Adelaide's Dan Houston.
However, the Suns are favouring the Pies in the discussion, given the desire to land John Noble.
Gold Coast list manager Craig Cameron explains.
"Our plan on Pick 13 at the moment is to deal with clubs that we're looking to get some players from," Cameron noted.
"We need to bring in the players that we've talked about to get some rebound defence.
"We've had some early conversations, I think that'll take a while."
Of those discussions, Richmond's best and fairest winner, Daniel Rioli, is well in the mix, hoping to reunite with former coach Damien Hardwick up north.
The Tom Barrass trade from West Coast to Hawthorn has plenty to play out, especially given he is contracted for another three years at the Perth club.
Barrass is an integral player in the Eagles line-up and has been for multiple years, proving his worth as one of the best key defenders in the competition.
The Hawks are well aware that a "significant pick" will need to be involved to successfully broker a trade.
West Coast list manager Matt Clarke too implied that Hawthorn would need to pass over a high draft pick to land Barrass this trade period.
"Everyone would love two first-rounders, but he's a contracted player for three years, a key position back, so he's really important to us," Clarke said.
"Andrew [McQualter] made that really clear when he came on only a week or so ago what he thinks... so it's up to [Hawthorn] to come to us now. We're not going to be silly about it, we want fair compensation for a player of his value."
St Kilda forward Jack Hayes has reportedly undergone a medical assessment at Collingwood as he weighs up his future.
Hayes is without a contract for 2025 but has shown plenty of promise despite being hindered by serious injuries.
The Magpies are seizing the opportunity to add a ready-made player with proven ability to their list, joining the likes of Harry Perryman and, hopefully, Dan Houston.
North Melbourne list manager Brady Rawlings has indicated the Kangaroos are open to exploring all options, including delisted free agents, as they shape their roster for the 2025 AFL season.
Adelaide's Lachlan Gollant could be a potential target for the Kangaroos, given his versatility across multiple roles.
Gollant was delisted by the Crows last week but has shown promise at the elite level.
“It'll come down to list spots with some of those decisions,” Rawlings said.
"Depending on who else we bring in in the trade period and list spots for the draft, we'll weigh up whether we look at a DFA or train-on over the next couple of weeks."
Geelong is reportedly close to extending Patrick Dangerfield's tenure at the club, with an agreement deemed to be "a pretty quick thing".
Dangerfield is the last remaining unsigned restricted free agent in 2024 but will run out for an 18th AFL season - and a 10th at the Cats.
"They're good. I must admit, it hasn't taken up too much time out of mine, or Pat's or the Connors group," club list boss Andrew Mackie said of negotiations with the 337-gamer.
"I rang Pat on the weekend, and I said, 'We'll get to your thing', and he said, 'You've spent one second too much on it'. It's not going to take too much longer than that.
"Pat's going to be with us, and the contract would be a pretty quick thing. We'll move through that easily."
Mackie is also buoyed by what delisted Carlton free agent Jack Martin will do.
Martin is expected to sign with the club for 2025, beating out Fremantle and Gold Coast for his signature.
"We're aware of (the injury concern) clearly, but really excited about what the possibility could be if we get that right," Mackie said.
"A quality person Jack is, so we're really looking forward to the first of November, putting him on our list and seeing what can happen.
"Hopefully, the change as much as anything might work, there's no guarantees with that one, and we're open-minded but excited about the prospect of it."
GWS youngster Conor Stone is weighing up his future whilst sitting in limbo without a contract for 2025.
Stone has failed to make a consistent impact at the AFL level despite showing plenty of promise, which has Essendon leering.
The Bombers have expressed significant interest in the Victorian, who could find more minutes on the half-back line after the club farewelled Dyson Heppell, Jake Kelly and Nick Hind.
The Giants, too, can offer a similar role following the departures of Nick Haynes, Isaac Cumming and Harry Perryman.
It is well known that Fremantle holds three first-round picks in the upcoming draft, thanks to Port Adelaide and Collingwood in previous trade periods.
However, as the club weighs up making a play for wantaway Richmond star Shai Bolton or carrying over picks to lure Chad Warner back to his home state, Melbourne has come knocking.
The Demons are weighing up avenues on entering the 2024 Draft, given its depth and star power across all lines.
Melbourne currently holds Picks 5, 28 (Alex Neal-Bullen), 40, 48, 53 and 64 for November's count but are reported to be another first-round selection.
Port Adelaide ruckman Ivan Soldo has requested a trade to St Kilda, but the club believes it could take a while before he lands at Moorabbin.
After only one year, Soldo, who is understood to have never really settled in South Australia, has expressed his desire to return to Victoria despite being contracted for another two seasons.
"He'd prefer not to be at Port Adelaide next year," Power football boss Chris Davies said bluntly.
"The deal is going to have to be right for Ivan to go. The understanding around the place is that maybe St Kilda are the ones who are most interested in Ivan. We'll just have to wait and see how that one plays out."
The Saints let go of Tom Campbell, so there is an opening alongside Rowan Marshall, who's endured most of the ruck loads for the past few seasons.
Former first-round pick Jacob Konstanty has been told by Sydney that he'll have to wait in limbo while the club figures out its list.
Konstanty is yet to debut for the Swans since being taken with Pick 20 in the 2022 National Draft and is without a contract for next year.
The youngster has fallen behind the likes of Tom Papley, Will Hayward, Sam Wicks and Luke Parker, with the latter leaving for North Melbourne.
"It's been a pretty frustrating couple of years for Jacob," Swans list boss Chris Keane said.
"We're working through that at the moment with him; it's probably a matter of where this sort of nine-day period ends up and where the dust settles as to what happens with him.
"But we're in constant communication with him and his management, and he knows to where it's attack. So we'll see how that plays out."
