Richmond will unveil local midfielder Kane McAuliffe in Sunday's Gather Round clash against St Kilda.

The North Adelaide product has been a standout for the Tigers' VFL side to start his maiden year at Punt Road, averaging 30.5 disposals, 15.5 contested possessions, seven clearances, 6.5 inside-50s and 6.5 tackles in his pair of appearances at the state league level.

The explosive inside midfielder was drafted to the Tigers with the 40th overall pick in last year's National Draft as one of South Australia's leading prospects.

"He's in great form," Tigers VFL coach Steve Morris said of McAuliffe, via the club.

"(He) had another really good day at the office... A game-high eight tackles and consistently won the footy for us on the day."

With the Tigers also set to regain Jack Graham and Dustin Martin from injury for their Round 4 clash, Adem Yze's midfield unit is set to look quite different compared to the start of the season with the arrival of McAuliffe.

Forward Jacob Koschitzke, ruckman Sam Naismith and defender Hugo Ralphsmith have also been named as potential inclusions, with the Tigers to finalise their Gather Round squad at 5:00pm (AEDT) on Friday.

Richmond will be without Liam Baker (suspension), Tom Lynch (injured) and Noah Balta (injured) from their side that defeated Sydney last Sunday.
