WNBL outfit the Southside Flyers have announced the signing of Richmond's AFLW star Monique Conti for the summer ahead.
Having played for the Melbourne Boomers from 2016 through to 2020, this isn't the first time Conti has played in the WNBL.
In fact, just before taking a one-year stint out of the game, the superstar midfielder won a Championship with the Boomers.
The Flyers currently sit fourth of eight in the WNBL, winning two of their first three games but are coming off a poor season where they finished second last.
Conti, 22, had another stellar year for the Tigers, appearing primed for her fifth best and fairest in a row after winning one with the Bulldogs and three at Punt Road.
Elucidating this, Conti accumulated 23.9 touches and laid 5.9 tackles a game for Richmond in her ten games this year.

Should the reigning AFLPA MVP take home the award on Friday night, she will have won five best and fairest awards in a row, a feat that only two players in VFL/ AFL/ AFLW history have accomplished: Bob Skilton for the Swans and Gary Dempsey for the Bulldogs.
The WNBL competition finishes in March, meaning the superstar midfielder will return to Punt Road for the beginning of the AFLW season.
Conti is one of many dual athletes in the AFLW, including Blue Brooke Walker, who plays rugby league with the Parramatta Eels and has previously played rugby union and touch football.
