Versatile Richmond tall Bigoa Nyuon is now expected to become a Kangaroo ahead of Friday's free agency deadline.

Nyuon is eligible for free agency under an unrestricted band given he was delisted by the club at the end of the 2021 season before being re-drafted to the rookie list.

The 22-year-old is one of four Tigers still unsigned for next season at Punt Road, with Hugo Ralphsmith, Rhyan Mansell and Mate Colina also off-contract amid an active player movement period.

Nyuon has met with the Kangaroos as he explores his options for 2024, looking to add to his one AFL appearance in four years at Richmond.

It is now expected that Nyuon lands at Arden Street via free agency this week, with the young tall to become a Kangaroo after North Melbourne bid farewell to Ben McKay and Todd Goldstein to Essendon earlier this week.

"Just a watch on young Richmond player Biggie Nyuon," reporter Tom Morris told SEN Breakfast on Wednesday.

"It's looking more likely he'll get to North Melbourne as an unrestricted free agent."

Nyuon's sole appearance at senior level came last year against Hawthorn, where he recorded six disposals and two tackles in a 23-point win.

The Tigers aren't expected to undergo a busy trade and free agency window this off-season, with a move for Hawks forward Jacob Koschitzke potentially their only piece of business ahead of next Wednesday's trade period deadline.

Richmond ruckman Ivan Soldo is of interest to Port Adelaide, however the Tigers are keen to retain their second-string ruckman who is under contract for the next 12 months.

Free agency closes at 5:00pm (AEDT) on Friday.
