Channel Nine's Tony Jones has called for Richmond to sack Sydney Stack and Callum Coleman-Jones.

The duo were banned for 10 weeks and the club was fined $100,000 for a lockdown breach that saw Stack and Coleman-Jones visit a strip club and buy kebabs in the early hours of Friday morning.

An outraged Jones said the pair did not deserve a second chance and their actions will force the club to let go of innocent staff members.

"I would have sacked them,โ€ Jones told Channel Nineโ€™s Sunday Footy Show.

โ€œWhat gets me is people have lost their jobs in the AFL and at Richmond, these two blokes along with their teammates are in a privileged position whereby they can go and kick a football and get paid well for it โ€“ and they still canโ€™t abide by the rules which have been set out.

โ€œThere should be no second chances - they should be sacked.โ€

Richmond released a statement confirming the duo will pay $75,000 of the fine, yet the AFLPA has quashed the statement and said the club will need to pay the fee.
