Richmond has announced the re-signing of veteran Kamdyn McIntosh and youngster Thomson Dow for the 2025 season.

As the club draws toward a close of its final list - lodgements due October 31st - ahead of the draft, the pair of Tigers have locked their futures away for at least another 12 months.

McIntosh will enter his 13th AFL season in 2025, likely adding to the 190 games at the senior level.

The 30-year-old has featured prominently since debuting a decade ago, including playing pivotal roles in the 2017 and 2020 premierships.

Dow played a career-high 17 games in 2024 and has shown enough for the club to recommit him to next year.

The 22-year-old benefitted from the Tigers' long injury list and provided a strong depth option in the midfield.

Dow averaged 15.7 disposals, 3.4 clearances and 2.3 tackles this year.

Richmond GM of Football Talent Blair Hartley said that McIntosh and Dow had worked hard for their contract extensions.

"Kamdyn's durability has been fantastic in recent years, and he has continually played his role for the team. He is a popular member of the group, and we are happy to have him commit further to Richmond," Hartley said.

"Thomson took a step forward this season by playing 17 games at AFL level, we are looking forward to seeing what he can achieve in 2025.

"Both Kamdyn and Thomson help to drive standards and are excellent team-first players, we look forward to having their leadership around the group going into 2025."

The Tigers recently delisted young duo Noah Cumberland and Matt Coulthard as they prepare to take a historic draft hand into next month's National Draft.

Richmond currently hold eight picks in the top 24 selections including the prized No.1 Pick.
