Reports have indicated that former Geelong big man Wylie Buzza has emerged as a possible target for Port Adelaide as the club seeks to negate its loss of key position talent.
The defections of several tall forwards during the trade period have left the Power perilously thin at the position, with little behind injury-prone Charlie Dixon.
The Age and SEN are reporting that Port Adelaide is actively looking to fill this void, with the former Cat cult hero believed to be an option.
23-year-old Buzza, delisted by the Cats last week after their trade for out-of-favour Crow Josh Jenkins, had fallen behind the likes of Esava Ratugolea and Darcy Fort in the race to be Tom Hawkins' key forward partner, and failed to make an AFL appearance last season after playing three games in 2018.
Buzza booted 32 goals from 17 VFL games in 2019.
