Rival clubs are reportedly circling West Coast young gun Oscar Allen.

According to the The West Australian's Nick Rynne, at least three clubs are preparing to table three-year deals worth up to $850,000 per season.

The 22-year old doesn't come out of contract until the end of 2022, but rivals are already preparing to poach him away from the Eagles.

Allen was drafted by West Coast out of West Perth with Pick 21 in the 2017 AFL draft and has played 41 games for the club since making his debut the following year.

One of the most exciting young stars in the league, Allen has been used all over the field by Adam Simpson but is now establishing himself up forward.

He has booted 45 career goals, including seven this season through three rounds.

With Josh Kennedy coming towards the end of his career, re-signing Allen will be seen as a key priority for the club.

AFL Hall of Famer Gerard Healy recently labelled Allen as the best young key position player in the game, while Tigers legend Matthew Richardson named him the league's number one young gun.
