Collingwood livewire Jack Ginnivan is reportedly expected to be on the radar of clubs this trade period, depending on the outcome of Docker Lachie Schultz's situation.
The revelation comes after Fremantle goalkicker Schultz, who is contracted at Cockburn next season, requested a trade to the Magpies on Monday afternoon.
The high-pressure Dockers small forward, who hails from Victoria, cited family reasons as part of his movement request on the opening day of the league's exchange period.
If Schultz finds his way to Olympic Park this off-season, rival clubs will explore the possibility of acquiring Collingwood fan-favourite Ginnivan, according toย AFL Media journalist Riley Beveridge on Monday evening.
Clubs are expected to explore premiership forward Jack Ginnivan's availability, should a move taking Lachie Schultz to Collingwood materialise.

Fremantle released a statement late Monday afternoon, confirming Schultz's request.
"Lachie Schultz has today enquired about the possibility of returning to Victoria for family reasons," stated the Dockers via X.
"Lachie is a required player who still has a year to run on his contract."
Ginnivan, meanwhile, started just nine of Collingwood's 26 outings this season, seeing his senior opportunities fade after a promising 2022 campaign.
However, Ginnivan was recalled to Craig McRae's best 22 for the Pies' Grand Final victory over Brisbane two Saturdays ago.
Like Schultz, the 20-year-old Ginnivan is contracted for next season, having signed a two-year deal in 2022.
The trade period concludes on Wednesday, October 18 at 7:30 PM (AEDT).
