Adelaide's bold trade play for Gold Coast swingman Jack Lukosius is heating up, with Crows coach Matthew Nicks having met up with the 24-year-old.
It is understood that Nicks was in the Sunshine State last week and discussed the potential of a move to South Australia, according to News Corp.
Lukosius, who was drafted from SANFL club Woodville-West Torrens with Pick 2 at the 2018 AFL National Draft, is contracted for two more seasons but could be gettable after appearing to fall out of favour at the Suns.

Lukosius was dropped for the Round 22 heart-stopping clash against Essendon, falling behind the likes of Ben King, Jed Walter and defender-turned-forward Mac Andrew, who kicked the match-winning goal after the siren.
Lukosius, though highly rated, could be available for trade as the Suns attempt to balance their books to bring triple premiership-winning Richmond playmaker Daniel Rioli to the club to reunite with his Tigers flag coach Damien Hardwick.
The Lukosius move comes as the club has successfully landed big fish Izak Rankine (Gold Coast) and Jordan Dawson (Sydney) in recent years, using the return home ploy as an effective tactic.
The 195cm utility has played 115 games for the Suns, kicking 77 goals, with a personal best of 39 coming in 2023.
A very good player, but where would he fit?
Especially with the dollars tat would be involved….
We have an emerging forward line with a number of talls…. Fogarty, Thilthorpe, Gollant (is possibly too good for the SANFL).
Once Walker retires is he best replaced with another tall – or perhaps a faster mid-sized player?
