Collingwood is reportedly keeping an "eye" on former Sydney Executive General Manager Charlie Gardner for the vacant football boss role.
Gardner walked away as the Swans GM ahead of the 2024 season after five years in the position but remained at the club, focussing on legal compliance and commercial projects based in Melbourne.
The Pies are on the hunt for a new GM following the departure of Graham Wright, who joined arch-rival Carlton in a succession plan that will see him succeed current CEO Brian Cook.
Wright was reportedly keen to depart the AIA Centre after its flag triumph in 2023 but remained on Collingwood's books whilst on a six-month sabbatical.
During Wright's absence, assistant coaches Brendon Bolton and Justin Leppitsch took on more responsibility, with the former also leaving the Pies, joining Ross Lyon at St Kilda.
One name to keep an eye on for Collingwoodโs new football boss is Charlie Gardiner.

Reported byย Channel 7's Mitch Cleary, the 2023 premiers could consider making a play for Gardner, while Adelaide list manager Justin Reid has also been mentioned as a candidate.
The 41-year-old played 63 AFL games across Geelong (2002-2007) and St Kilda (2008) after he was taken with Pick 23 in the 2001 AFL Draft.
