Chief Herald Sun journalist Mark Robinson has compiled his top 50 for the 2019 season, with Norm Smith Medallist Dustin Martin topping the count after another brilliant finals series.
Martin wasn't named as an All-Australian after a tough first half to the season, although like the Tigers, dominated after the bye and was easily the best player in September.
Martin is one of seven Tigers to make the cut, alongside Dion Prestia (9), Tom Lynch (18), Dylan Grimes (20), Bachar Houli (24), Shane Edwards (26) and Nick Vlastuin (41).
Players who missed a lot of the season through injury weren't considered, meaning Tigers trio Alex Rance, Jack Riewoldt and Trent Cotchin all missed out.
GWS Giant Stephen Coniglio was also a noticeable absentee.
Brownlow Medallist Nat Fyfe came in at number two, while Patrick Dangerfield, Patrick Cripps and Marcus Bontempelli rounded out the top five.
Collingwood's Brodie Grundy was the top ruckman at six, four spots ahead of Melbourne counterpart Max Gawn.
