North Melbourne youngster Mitch Hibberd has suffered a serious knee injury inย a highly unfortunate and innocuous incidentย while playing for Werribbe in the VFL on the weekend.
Hibberd was jogging completely by himself on the wingย when he fell to ground clutching his left knee.
He wasย in serious pain and was stretcheredย off the ground, with fears that he has ruptured his ACL.

Hibberd is not a stranger to knee injuries, undergoingย a knee reconstruction in 2014.
He was selected with pick No.33 in last year's National Draft and he is yet to play a senior game.
