Some more Thursday night footy, and what a game it looks to be. The Cats are flying at the moment, while the Eagles will enjoy playing at home.
Josh Kennedy will not make his return for West Coast, while Tom Hawkins will not be able to play for the Cats due to suspension. Home ground advantage will help the Eagles, however Geelong's record at the ground isn't woeful.
Recent form would suggest the Cats should take this one. They have continued to find a way to win, while West Coast continue to miss Kennedy. It's a tough job to win in the west, but Geelong should do it.

This game is set to be a massive clash for both sides. North Melbourne will play their second, and last, Friday night game, while many are beginning to have their doubts about St Kilda.
The Saints could be without key defender Jake Carlisle, which would be a big loss due to the potential of the Roos' forward line. On top of this is their terrible recent record against North Melbourne, having lost their past six match-ups.
Brad Scott and his players will be hopeful of a miraculous finals berth, if they are to do it these are the games they need to win. It should be a tight contest, with the Roos potentially prevailing.

Richmond come into another week of football facing a massive test. Despite Sydney's early troubles, they seem to be returning to the right track, and will no doubt take it up to the Tigers.
If Damien Hardwick and his boys can whether the Swans' storm and take the four points, it may just place them as legitimate contenders. The Rance vs. Franklin battle should be a mouthwatering contest. The winner of it may very well decide the game.
Another tough game to split, however Sydney look to be on a rampage at the moment, and with Richmond coming off the bye, they may jump them early.

Both of these sides are coming off stunning results. Brisbane took everyone by surprise when they dominated Fremantle at the Gabba, and while some may have predicted a loss for Port Adelaide, few would have expected the margin to be so big.
So now these two sides will go head-to-head, the Lions on a roll, and the Power not so much. In saying that, considering the game is going to be played at Adelaide Oval, it's tough to have high hopes for Brisbane.
Port Adelaide so far this season have shown that they come out hungry and aggressive after losing the week before. Before last week, in three of their past four losses they won the following game. The average margin in those wins is an incredible 72 points. Watch out Brisbane.

Saturday, Metricon Stadium 7:45pm, AEST
13th vs. 16th doesn't necessarily get fans chomping at the bit, however this game has the potential to be the most exciting of the round. Carlton did the impossible to knock off GWS last week, while the Suns have beaten Hawthorn, and West Coast in their last two games.
The deciding factor may be that the game is being played at Metricon Stadium. The Suns are normally very good at home, and they should have the fire power to get over the Blues in this one.

It's been an interesting week for the Western Bulldogs, facing more questions than they have for a long time. Are they the side we all thought they were? Are they a genuine contender?
Melbourne are coming off a win in what some have called the game of the season. They will be looking to ride that game into this one, and they are poised to make a serious run at the Dogs in this one.
After all that said, it's time the Bulldogs bounced back, and they should do it in this game. Hopefully we see the running-and-gunning pressure crazy Dogs we love.
