Defenders Back Pocket: Jake Lloyd (Sydney) Lloyd is an excellent distributor from defensive 50. On Friday night he finished with 28 disposals, seven marks and three tackles. Full Back: Tom Clurey (Port Adelaide) Played on the in-form Tom Hawkins and kept him to just five disposals and zero goals. Back Pocket: Jack Crisp (Collingwood) Crisp recorded 33 disposals, eight marks, four tackles, five score involvements, eight intercept possessions in a stunning display against the Bulldogs. Half Back: Daniel Rich (Brisbane) Rich is quietly putting together a very good season. Against St Kilda, he managed 24 disposals (22 kicks), 11 marks, seven intercept possessions and 503 metres gained. Half Back: Caleb Daniel (Western Bulldogs) Daniel played a complete game against Collingwood, where his intercepting and ball use was a highlight. Daniel finished with 35 disposals, 10 intercept possessions, six marks, four tackles and 445 metres gained. Centre Wing: Dom Sheed (West Coast) Sheed recorded 36 disposals, kicked two goals and had six clearances against the Bombers, evidencing his dominance on the day. Centre: Luke Parker (Sydney) Parker owned the middle of the ground against the Hawks, finishing with 31 disposals, seven marks, 12 tackles and seven clearances as well as kicking a goal. Forwards Half Forward: Robbie Gray (Port Adelaide) Gray has thrived after moving back into the midfield in recent weeks. Against Geelong, he recorded 31 disposals and kicked two goals. Centre Half Forward: Tom McDonald (Melbourne) After a tough start to 2019, McDonald finally returned to his best form against Fremantle, recording 28 disposals, seven marks and three goals. Half Forward: Jay Lockhart (Melbourne) The rapid rise of Lockhart continued on Saturday afternoon, as he recorded 21 disposals, six marks and two goals. On the weekend, he dominated St Kilda with five goals and 13 kicks. Full Forward: Josh Kennedy (West Coast) Kennedy was dominant on Thursday night with eight scoring shots, which included three goals as well as eight marks. Forward Pocket: Brandon Matera (Fremantle) Matera continued his strong run of form against Melbourne, finishing with 18 disposals, three goals, four marks and five tackles. Followers Ruck: Brodie Grundy (Collingwood) Grundy was the first AFL player in history to record more than 25 disposals, 50 hitouts and two goals in a game, highlighting his immense impact. Ruck Rover: Elliot Yeo (West Coast) The best tackler in the country finished with 12 and also recorded 25 disposals, 636 metres gained, three marks and kicked a crucial goal when the game was still hot. Rover: Travis Boak (Port Adelaide) Boak’s rise from average half forward flanker to one of the best midfielders in the country has been nothing short of extraordinary this year. On Saturday night he managed 30 disposals (17 contested), five marks and eight tackles. Adam Treloar (Collingwood) Treloar recorded 36 disposals, four marks and eight tackles in the win over the Bulldogs.
