An AFL Hall of Famer, Paul Salmon is one of the most decorated players in the game after an impressive 324-game career for Essendon and Hawthorn.

Recruited from North Ringwood, Salmon debuted for the Bombers in 1983 and and it did not take long for the Fish to establish himself on the competition, booting 63 goals in just 13 games the following season.

At 206 centimetres, Salmon was at the time, the tallest man to play in the AFL. Rotating between the ruck and full-forward, Salmon won two premierships with the Bombers in 1985 and 1993.

Salmon kicked a whopping 561 majors over his career and led Essendon's season goal kicking on seven occasions, ranking fourth on their all-time goal kicking list.

After crossing to Hawthorn in 1996, Salmon retired in 2000, before making a return to the Bombers in 2002. He played 15 games in 2002 before retiring permanently.

Since his AFL career came to an end, Salmon has been developing a height-adjustable desk specifically for students in primary and secondary school.

With the current generation the most inactive in history, Salmon and his company Askisi are looking for ways to get kids moving.

The desks will also have artificial intelligence built in, to allow for information on how students behave and how best to keep them active.

To find more information on the desk and the company, head to the Askisi website here.

Salmon spoke to Zero Hanger during the week, and gave us his tips for the third round of the season.

Salmon's Round 4 tips:

Adelaide v Collingwood

"Collingwood have got their work cut out for them. They might get a couple of players back and it will get them a lift, but won't be enough to knock off the Crows on their home turf"

Tip: Adelaide by 24 points

GWS v Fremantle

"It's neutral turf in a way. Fremantle will be this season's surprise package, but I can't see them getting over the Giants."

Tip: GWS by 21 points

Richmond v Brisbane

"Tigers at the G, it would take a brave person to tip against them at home. Richmond are red-hot and Brisbane just don't have the arsenal to beat them"

Tip: Richmond by 30 points

Western Bulldogs v Sydney

"Sydney will get over the line at the end. The Bulldogs have to contrive a lot of energy to get themselves up but their is a sense of fragility about them at the moment."

Tip: Sydney by 12 points

North Melbourne v Carlton

"You've got to back North in Tassie. They need to show their fans that they have a list that is going somewhere."

Tip: North Melbourne by 18 points

West Coast v Gold Coast

"Western Australians would be loving that they have a few away games on their home turf this season. Nic Naitanui's presence gives them a lift."

Tip: West Coast by eight points

Essendon v Port Adelaide

"You've got to expect a bit of a bounce back from the Bombers. You've got to give it to Port but don't be surprised if Essendon win."

Tip: Port Adelaide by 29 points

Hawthorn v Melbourne

"The game of the round. It is a bit of a must-win game for both teams to set themselves up for the season. It will be tight"

Tip: Hawthorn by six points

Geelong v St Kilda

"Although the Cats will lose Gary Ablett this week, they have the strength across the ground. The Saints should put up a fight."

Tip: Geelong by 36 points
