Paul Roos' name has been synonymous with the AFL over the past 30 years, and had a very decorated playing career with both Fitzroy and Sydney.

Roos captained the Lions for six seasons and is the centre half back in Fitzroy's Team of the Century, after 269 games at the club.

He then moved to Sydney and played 87 games for the Swans, before ending his career with 356 games, seven All-Australian guernseys and a spot in the Australian Football Hall of Fame.

Roos then went on to coach Sydney and lead them to the 2005 premiership, their first in 72 years.

He also coached Melbourne from 2014-16, and is now one of the stars of Fox Footy's game day coverage as an analyst.

Roos is now the founder and director of Performance by Design, a company that works with corporate and sporting leaders to create strong, united and disciplined teams.

After creating strong cultures at Sydney and Melbourne, Roos is hoping to bring his expertise to the company.

Roos spoke to Zero Hanger during the week, and gave us his tips and predictions for the round ahead!

Roos' Round 6 tips:

Western Bulldogs v Carlton

"I'm going to go the Bulldogs. I reckon this is a 50/50 game, but I'm going with the Bulldogs because their best has been better than Carlton's so far this year. Although I think this game could go either way."

Tip: Bulldogs by four points

Geelong v Sydney

"I'm going to have to go with Geelong, with Buddy and Dan Hannebery out, even though Sydney play really well at Kardinia Park. I think it's going to be a lot closer than what people think."

Tip: Geelong by 18 points

North Melbourne v Port Adelaide

"I'm going to go with Port Adelaide, I think like a lot of teams bouncing back, I think they've got too much talent. I think they'll be really angry after their last couple of weeks."

Tip: Port Adelaide by 15 points

GWS v Brisbane

"I think the Giants are just too talented and too experienced now for the Lions, even though the Lions haven't been as bad as their 0-5 record suggests."

Tip: Giants by 30 points

Hawthorn v St Kilda

"I'm going to go with an upset, I'm going with the Saints. I think with Puopolo, Rioli and now Sicily out, there's a lot of outs, and St Kilda showed some good signs last week, and if they can get their forward 50 entries right, I think they'll win."

Tip: Saints by 17 points

Adelaide v Gold Coast

"I think Adelaide will be too good. Probably similar to the Giants-Lions game, Adelaide are just too mature and too talented. The Suns are going really really well, but I find it hard for them to win against Adelaide."

Tip: Crows by 29 points

Essendon v Melbourne

"I'm going to go with the Demons, I'm going with my heart. Both teams aren't in great form obviously, but I think it'll come down to both teams that have similar problems, entries inside 50 not resulting in goals, and both are pretty easy to score against at the moment. Whichever team can get their defence set right will win the game."

Tip: Melbourne by 12 points.

Collingwood v Richmond

"Another good game, I think Richmond are the benchmark team at the moment and it's a good test for Collingwood, but I think Richmond will win."

Tip: Richmond by 19 points

Fremantle v West Coast

"Another good game of footy, and I'm going to go with Freo. Just with the form of their really good players in Neale, Mundy and particularly Fyfe with Sandilands in the ruck."

Tip: Fremantle by one point
