Starting with the backline which is bookended by Carlton's two key defenders. Jacob Weitering and Liam Jones were superb on Sunday night's win over the Bulldogs.

Weitering kept Josh Schache to just two disposals and five ranking points. Jones managed to keep in-form Josh Bruce goalless and to just two kicks. GWS duo Nick Haynes and Lachie Whitfield were standouts in their loss to Port Adelaide.

Up the other end of the ground, Harry McKay and Eddie Betts slot in after managing seven goals between them on Sunday. Debutant Izak Rankine comes straight in after his stellar display where he managed three goals in an electric display. Tom Hawkins starts in the goal square after his brilliant display against the Lions on Thursday night.

Todd Goldstein takes the ruck position and will have Bailey Smith at his feet - Smith was brilliant for the Bulldogs in a losing side. On that pattern, Suns midfielder Hugh Greenwood starts on the ground after a tough display against the Demons.

Reilly O'Brien was in the news during the week after tweeting his game notes on Nic Natinui, and those notes seemed to work as he took out the points in that battle. Sam Simpson, who was playing his first game in over 700 days, takes a bench spot as well.-
