GWS defender Isaac Cumming has reportedly made up his mind on where he will play in. 2025 and beyond.

Weighing up his future on the Giants and heavy interest from both South Australian clubs, Cumming has opted to join Adelaide in a massive coup for the club.

It is understood that Crows legend Taylor Walker - who the Giant has a link with - played a pivotal part in luring the 26-year-old to West Lakes.

Cumming was weighing up hefty offers from both South Australian clubs, admitting that both came with strong deals.

However, hailing from Broken Hill in country New South Wales - where Walker grew up - there was a "lot of familiarity" at the Crows, ultimately assisting the decision.

Cumming will finish his time at the Giants with 81 games under his belt after being taken with Pick 20 in the 2016 National Draft.

Adelaide will complete the process of signing Cumming when the AFL's free agency period opens from October 4.

The Crows will also welcome Alex Neal-Bullen from Melbourne after he requested a trade back to the state for family reasons.

It comes as Adelaide lost out its battle for Jack Lukosius to the Power.

  1. ……this is embarrassing….

Broken hill is in NSW, not Victoria.

South Australia has a long football history with Broken Hill in particular. Many a SANFL player is from there.
Adelaide is where football came to Broken Hill – (much as it did to WA and NT).
