Our Rookie Rankings have seen more movement among podium, while two young forwards are beginning to strengthen their places among the top seven after recently entering our rankings.

Just three of our top seven featured over the weekend, with byes and injury limiting the leading names among this year's rookie class during Round 14.

St Kilda debutant Arie Schoenmaker has quickly proven to be one to watch over the home stretch after putting forward a promising performance in his maiden match on Friday against Brisbane.

Selection Criteria:ย For ourย Rookie Rankings, we are ONLY selecting players who have made their debut this season.

Other players who may still be eligible for a Rising Star nomination but have already made their debut before the 2024 season will not be considered. I.e. Rising Star eligible players such as George Wardlaw, Angus Sheldrick and Sam Darcyย are ineligible, having already played anย AFL match before Round 1, 2024.ย

Honourable Mentions:

1. Harley Reid (-)

The Eagles star still has another week to serve in his two-game suspension, which came either side of the club's Round 14 bye.

There's been little to suggest his spot at No.1 on our Rookie Rankings is under threat since his suspension started, with Reid having more than enough runs on the board from his stellar opening half of the year.

The Eagles return this weekend to face Essendon, with Reid's comeback came coming in Round 16 against Hawthorn.
