Jack Billings has turned his back on free agency and signed a new four-year deal with the Saints.
The classy left-footer was joined in re-signing by Paddy Ryder who signed a one-year extension.
St Kilda coach Brett Ratten confirmed the news onย SEN Breakfast. Ratten said Billings had become a real leader in his time at Moorabbin and deserved the long-term deal.
โJack Billings has signed for around four years, and Paddy Ryder for a year as wellโ, he said.
โJackโs been a great contributor at the St Kilda Football Club. At his age and with where we can go, heโs going to be an important part.
โWith where he was picked in the draft, people have huge expectations.
โInternally he plays his role on the wing, gets a lot of the ball, hits the scoreboard, and his leadership is growing.โ

โTheyโre both well-respected players who have really bought into the club and the vision weโre building.
โWeโre really lucky to have Jack commit long-term to the club. Heโs the ultimate professional, always adhering himself and others to really high-standards which is exactly what we need from a young leader like him.
โJack has the capabilities and dedication to elevate his game to another level and can play a variety of roles for the team. We look forward to seeing what the upcoming seasons will bring.โ
โPaddyโs continued to show his importance despite his age. His ruck work is first-class and weโve been fortunate to have him at the club over the past two seasons.
